Ed Miliband: 'Bunker mentality bad for NHS'

Labour Leader Ed Miliband has again called on the government to drop its controversial bill on NHS reforms.

Mr Miliband also attacked Prime Minister David Cameron for his handling of the issue and said: "This bunker mentality is the wrong way to run the NHS."

"It's not too late to start listening to the doctors, the nurses and the midwives. It's not too late to listen to patients."

His comments came as No 10 held a meeting with medical groups not opposed to the changes.

Others, including the British Medical Association and Royal College of Nursing, were not invited.
