Mark Pritchard MP: Europe, immigration and resignation

A Conservative MP who resigned from a party position has claimed the government is "timid" over Europe, and that the EU is "costing jobs and holding back growth".

Mark Pritchard has quit as the deputy chairman of the Conservative Party International Office, which promotes democracy in developing countries.

He told Jo Coburn that a "more robust policy on immigration" was needed, but claimed he was in line with most government policies.
