David Cameron: 'Butchery' in Syria is 'criminal'
Prime Minister David Cameron has condemned the ''criminal butchery'' in Syria and has said that Syrian President Basher al-Assad has to go.
The prime minister also told the Liaison Committee of MPs that he was disappointed that China and Russia had vetoed against a UN resolution on Syria.
Mr Cameron added that he had discussed the crisis in Syria in a telephone call with newly-elected Russian President Vladimir Putin, but ''did not sense any sign of a shift'' in his position.
