Syria blames 'booby traps' for Red Cross Baba Amr delay

The Syrian authorities are continuing to block a vital aid convoy from entering the battered Baba Amr district of Homs.

The Red Cross has condemned as "unacceptable" the decision to stop the convoy from going in to the former rebel stronghold, which was overrun by Syrian troops two days ago.

The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has expressed concern that Syrian forces have been torturing and arbitrarily executing people in Baba Amr.
