Vince Cable to warn over lack of business lending
The government needs to do more to make banks lend money to smaller companies, Vince Cable will tell the Liberal Democrat spring conference on Saturday.
The Business Secretary is expected to say Britain's economic recovery could be "throttled" unless action is taken to get money moving again.
On Friday, Nick Clegg told his party they had to move on from rows about university tuition fees and the coalition government's plans to reform the NHS.
