MP calls for publication of extradition evidence

Conservative MP Dominic Raab talks about the US/UK extradition treaty, raised by David Cameron in his talks with President Obama.

Concerns have been raised about the 2003 US-UK extradition treaty following controversial cases involving British citizens including Christopher Tappin and Gary McKinnon.

An independent review of the treaty conducted earlier this year by former Court of Appeal judge Sir Scott Baker found no reason to believe it was operating unfairly.

Mr Raab told the Daily Politics that evidence given to the Baker review should be published.
