Jeremy Hunt 'followed due process'
Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt has said he strictly followed due process regarding the News Corp bid to take over BSkyB.
In his statement to the House of Commons about the matter, he said he would respond fully to the allegations about his conduct and that of his department when he gives evidence at the Leveson Inquiry.
Speaking about the resignation of his special adviser, Adam Smith, Mr Hunt said he believed Mr Smith to be "someone of integrity and decency", who accepted he had "overstepped the mark on this occasion".
