Vince Cable: 'Don't scare the workers'

Business Secretary Vince Cable has attacked a plan being considered by fellow ministers to make it easier for companies to sack workers.

The report by businessman Adrian Beecroft, also proposes giving employees less warnings of large redundancy plans.

The prime minister says he will examine the plans but Mr Cable said the idea was 'complete nonsense'.
