Alex Salmond: 'Observer newspaper accessed my account'

Scotland's First Minister, Alex Salmond, has been answering questions about his relationship with News Corporation boss Rupert Murdoch at the Leveson Inquiry.

He said he did not believe his phone had been hacked, but that the Observer newspaper had accessed his bank account.

Responding to Mr Salmond's claim, a spokesman for the Observer said "we have been unable to find any evidence to substantiate the allegation".
