Bob Diamond 'still has questions to answer'

The Chief Executive of Barclays, Bob Diamond has resigned with immediate effect, in the wake of the rate-fixing scandal.

The outgoing chairman Marcus Agius, will lead the search for Mr Diamond's replacement.

Danny Alexander, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, said bosses at the bank still had serious questions to answer.
