Lord Dannatt on doubling numbers of Army reservists

Former head of the Army Lord Dannatt says plans to double the number of army reservists to 30,000 are "a large risk".

He told Daily Politics that "employers have got to be willing" and that "it's a big ask".

The plans also involve the Army cutting 20,000 service personnel by 2020.

Former Armed Forces Minister Kevan Jones said that the defence review had been led by the Treasury.
