Explorer Dwayne Fields on young people in countryside

The first black British man to reach the north pole wants black people in Britain to do their own exploring and get out into the countryside.

Dwayne Fields, who is heading to the south pole in a few weeks, wants government help to get all young people to get out from the cities and discover life in other parts of the UK.

The explorer said: "I hardly ever see young people in the countryside, let alone black people."
