Chloe Smith recalls Paxman Newsnight interview

Cabinet Office Minister Chloe Smith told Andrew Neil he was "a far more pleasant person to sit opposite - tie or no tie" than Newsnight's Jeremy Paxman.

Asked about her infamous interview on Newsnight in June 2012 , she was invited to comment on programme's current troubles over the Jimmy Savile revelations.

But the Conservative MP decided she would rather return to the Daily Politics for a cup of tea.
