Hugh Grant: Press victims feel betrayed over Leveson
Actor and campaigner Hugh Grant has said there was a sense of "astonishment and betrayal" among victims of unscrupulous media conduct after the prime minister refused to fully endorse the Leveson Report.
Lord Justice Leveson's report into press standards and ethics recommended an independent self-regulatory body for the industry, backed up by legislation.
Mr Grant was himself a victim of phone hacking, but told Andrew Marr that the people who had truly suffered were those such as the family of murdered schoolgirl Milly Dowler.
