Simon Callow on gay marriage and support for Cameron
Actor Simon Callow praised the "commendable boldness" of David Cameron for his plans to fast-track legislation on gay marriage.
The issue has divided the Conservative Party, but the actor spoke up for the plans that would allow him to marry his partner and claimed it would "set the seal" on their relationship.
He looked back over how attitudes had changed and homosexual love "began to become part of normal life".
He then debated with Conservative MP Nick Hurd and Labour MP Chuka Umunna in the Daily Politics studio, where they spoke about the policies of their parties.
