House of Commons reform: Lord Forsyth and Lord Rennard

A former Conservative minister wondered about the future of the coalition, after Liberal Democrat partners "ratted and reneged" on a deal over new Parliamentary boundaries, and he claimed the smaller party could no longer be trusted.

Lord Forsyth said ministers who voted against the government should be sacked, and that Nick Clegg had "double crossed the prime minister".

But Lib Dem Lord Rennard said the coalition could survive differences on some policy issues, as he spoke about the party's position on negotiations on AV and a smaller House of Commons
