Thank you from Andrew Marr

Andrew wants to send a huge thank you to friends and viewers who have bombarded him with goodwill messages, saying it has been truly wonderful. He says he is looking forward to returning to work.

Jeremy Vine, presenting the Andrew Marr Show this Sunday, told viewers that Andrew was 'on the mend'.

The production team would like to say a sincere thank you to everyone who has sent cards, letters and good wishes to Andrew since his stroke. We have been passing on as many as we can and Andrew and his family have been very touched by the warm and generous response to his illness.

He is currently still recovering in hospital and is continuing to make good progress.
