Ed Miliband's statement on Algeria threat

Speaking in the House of Commons in relation to the terror threat in Algeria and north Africa, Labour leader Ed Miliband reflected on the Arab Spring as an example of peaceful response.

He also extended his sympathy to the families of hostages who have been killed in Algeria.

He said the UK needs a "much greater focus of our diplomatic development and political resources on this region".
