Rennard claims: Police meet senior Lib Dems
Police detectives have held a meeting with senior Lib Dems as they launch an inquiry into allegations made about the party's former chief executive Lord Rennard.
He strongly denies the accusations of sexual impropriety which are alleged to involve at least 10 women.
There is pressure on the party leadership for its handling of the issue with a crucial parliamentary by-election in Eastleigh taking place on Thursday.
