PMQs: PM urged to look at knife crime

Conservative MP James Morris called on the prime minister to introduce a "legal assumption that people carrying a knife intend to use it" and therefore should attract a prison sentence.

The MP's question follows the death of school girl Christina Edkins, who was stabbed on a bus in Birmingham, while on her way to school in Halesowen.

David Cameron said the Justice Secretary was "currently reviewing the powers available to courts to deal with knife possession."
