Budget 2013: Advice for chancellor ahead of speech

The chancellor is a few days away from his 2013 Budget speech aiming to helping to help the economy, to cheer his backbenchers and win over potential voters.

David Thompson looked into the archive and also sought advice for George Osborne from the Independent's Steve Richards, Jonathan Isaby from the Taxpayers' Alliance, and former Trade Minister Lord (Digby) Jones of Birmingham.
