MP 'delight' at banning of wild animals from circuses

Conservative MP Mark Pritchard has told the Daily Politics he is "delighted" that plans to ban the use of wild animals in travelling circuses have been set out by the government.

Mr Pritchard has campaigned for the change which, as proposals stand, will come into force from December 2015.

Only a handful of circuses in England keep wild animals which includes any non-domestic species, such as tigers, zebras and camels.
