Boris Johnson on Queen's Speech bid for EU referendum

Conservative MPs should support David Cameron as the Tories were the only party to offer a referendum about Europe since 1975, Boris Johnson told the BBC.

When asked if he would back the backbench bid about the Queen's Speech, calling for a vote before the 2015 general election, he said: "I don't know about that. I would certain vote for a referendum, but that is exactly what the prime minister is proposing."
