UK migrant figures 'not accurate' says MP Alun Cairns

MPs from the Public Administration Committee have criticised the accuracy of official figures showing the number of people who are coming to live in Britain.

Conservative MP Alun Cairns, who sits on the committee, says the calculations are based on a small number of interviews and the margin for error ''is quite significant.''

The Home Office says it disagrees with the report's conclusions.
