Rail fare rise: commuter on train journey

Protests are planned at railway stations against higher rail fares, with more detailed figures set to follow Tuesday's announcement about the latest inflation figure.

Jennifer Burke, who pays £5,600 for a season ticket to travel between her home in Bedford and work in London, claimed the quality was getting "less and less" while she faced paying more to stand on a train.
