UN report on spare room subsidy 'biased' say Conservatives
The government has reacted angrily after a UN official released a press release that was highly critical of housing benefit changes in the UK.
Conservative chairman Grant Shapps said Raquel Rolnik had failed to meet any ministers or officials when in the UK and had wrongly referred to the spare room subsidy as a "bedroom tax".
In an interview with the BBC, Mr Shapps also condemned her findings as "biased and one sided".
