PM on Labour and Conservative NHS policies and spending

The prime minister attacked Labour for its record on the NHS, saying the Conservatives protected spending on the heath service and started the Cancer Drugs Fund.

David Cameron told his party conference it was Labour who presided over the Mid-Staffordshire Hospital crisis and warned his opponents: "Don't you dare lecture anyone on the NHS again."
