Davey: Energy firms risk comparison to greedy bankers

Energy Secretary Ed Davey has warned that gas and electricity companies risk being compared to greedy bankers.

In his speech to the annual Energy UK conference in London, Mr Davey said trust between energy companies and its customers had "broken down".

"Fair or not, consumers look at the big suppliers and they see a reflection of the greed that consumed the banks," said Mr Davey.
