EU taking action against airlines for flights delays

Some travellers are disrupted by weather and mechanical problems, but people are even less forgiving when "bumped" from flights overbooked by airlines.

MEPs and the European Commission are trying to improve an existing EU regulation which should make it easier to claim compensation and force companies to treat customers with more respect.
