David Cameron defiant over EU benefit controls

David Cameron has promised to make it harder for migrants from the European Union to get access to Britain's welfare system.

He said powers to deport homeless migrants and cut rights to unemployment and housing benefits would come in "as quickly as possible".

Speaking to the BBC's Nick Robinson, the prime minister said: "People are concerned about the pressures and the amount of immigration in recent years and I share that concern."
