Autumn statement: Osborne to make fresh spending cuts
A further £3 billion in cuts to government departments are to be announced on Thursday when the Chancellor delivers his Autumn Statement.
The cuts will come on top of existing savings and could be used in part to pay for commitments such as marriage tax breaks and free school meals.
