Autumn Statement: Osborne on 'more difficult decisions'
The chancellor claimed "Britain's economic plan is working" as he opened his Autumn Statement, but he told MPs that the job was not yet done.
George Osborne warned against repeating "mistakes of the past" as he called for a government that lived within its means.
In the upbeat opening to his speech, he also warned that 'today, we take more difficult decisions" as he set out plans for further economic reforms.
