UK interest rate rise: Andrew Lilico and Nigel Mills
The Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee kept UK interest rates at 0.5% on Thursday, meaning they have not changed since March 2009.
Andrew Neil heard the arguments for and against raising them, with Andrew Lilico from the Institute of Economic Affairs backing a rise to "normalise them back to around 2%".
But Nigel Mills from the North East Entrepreneurs' Forum wants them unchanged, saying people were dependent on lower rates to afford their mortgages, and for businesses to repay loans.
