US lessons on funding for UK theatre, museums and arts

The UK government wants to see arts organisations moving closer to the American model, where philanthropy provides more money rather than the state.

David Thompson spoke to Prof Cathy Pharoah of Cass Business School and John Studzinski of the Genesis Foundation about whether that model could work in Britain.
