Farage: UKIP 2010 election manifesto 'was drivel'
UKIP's leader Nigel Farage has said his party's 2010 general election manifesto was "drivel" and he ordered it to be removed from the website.
Mr Farage told Nick Ferrari on LBC radio that the 486-page document had "excessive detail", which he did not read, and the party had to start again with a blank piece of paper.
Mr Farage was an election candidate and the party's chief spokesman, but not leader, at the time.
