Whelan's political meetings in Red Lion and Gay Hussar
Former Labour spin doctor Charlie Whelan took a trip down memory lane to recall where the real politics of the Blair and Brown era were decided - in the watering holes of Westminster and Soho.
His tour took in the Red Lion pub, which is currently undergoing a refurbishment, the Gay Hussar restaurant, known to some as the Labour Party's canteen and the former Atrium restaurant.
