Nick Clegg on UK immigration figures and policies
The government cannot tell British people to leave the country to meet an immigration target, said the deputy prime minister.
Nick Clegg said there were fewer British leaving the UK than for many years.
And he told listeners to LBC's Call Clegg that there was "tattered and battered public confidence" in the way that UK immigration system was being run.
Liberal Democrats have been attacking Conservative immigration policy as a coalition split on the issue widens.
