Further onshore wind farm subsidy 'would be unfair'
It would "not be right" for the public to subsidise new onshore wind farms, energy minister Michael Fallon has said.
His comments follow the Conservative Party decision not to subsidise new onshore wind farms if the party wins the 2015 general election.
Mr Fallon told the Today programme that any project not granted planning permission before the next general election would not get funds, as the UK would already have enough wind power to meet 2020 EU targets.
First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Thursday 24 April.
