David Cameron: 'Turnout in elections is depressing'

Prime Minister David Cameron has said that the turnout in some recent elections is "depressing".

Responding to a question from Labour's Barry Sheerman about a lack of participation in politics, Mr Cameron said that people feel, "in respect to the European elections", that the institutions are "not relevant".
