Austerity protests: Francesca Martinez and Harry Cole
Some of Britain's best known comics will be taking to the stage to stand up against government austerity with a gig against cuts.
Francesca Martinez, taking part in the Stand up to Austerity, blamed a "neo-liberal agenda dominated by corporate interests" and said 80% of the cuts have yet to be introduced.
She debated with Harry Cole, from the Guido Fawkes blog, who described the cuts as "tinkering" when whole departments really needed to be removed.
He told Andrew Neil on the Daily Politics: "We have not really had austerity yet."
