Labour plan to part re-nationalise rail network

Labour is planning to pass a new law which will allow parts of Britain's rail network to be run by public or not-for-profit companies.

The BBC has learnt that Ed Miliband and the rail unions have reached an agreement in advance of a divisive vote on rail nationalisation at this weekend's Labour policy conference.
