David Ward MP refuses to apologise over Gaza tweets

The Lib Dem MP, David Ward has stood by comments he made about Gaza on social media.

Speaking to Rachel Burden on BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast programme, he said "people jump straight on the anti-Semitism bandwagon".

Ward sparked online controversy by tweeting "The big question is - if I lived in #Gaza would I fire a rocket? - probably yes."

Last year he was suspended from the Lib Dem party for comments he made about Israel.
