Rotherham abuse: Mann and Green on PCC Shaun Wright
A Labour MP said he will call on Home Secretary Theresa May to take over South Yorkshire Police to "force out" the police and crime commissioner if he will not stand down over the handling of child abuse in Rotherham.
John Mann said the refusal of Shaun Wright, who has left the Labour Party, to resign showed "how unsuited he is to the job".
Former Home Office Minister Damian Green agreed he should go, and added: "I don't know anyone, apart than Shaun Wright, who is saying Shaun Wright should survive."
They spoke to Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics ahead of Mr Wright, and senior figures from Rotherham Council and South Yorkshire Police, facing questions from MPs about the abuse of at least 1,400 children in the town.
