Boris Johnson to stand as Uxbridge's Conservative candidate
Boris Johnson has been selected to stand as the Conservative candidate for Uxbridge and South Ruislip in the next general election.
Mr Johnson has been London Mayor and previously was an MP for Henley between 2001 and 2008.
He plans to stay in his mayoral seat until the end of his second term in May 2016.
This means, should he be elected next year to the House of Commons, he will hold the two positions concurrently.
