Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage announce candidacy plans
Two of the best known politicians in the UK are hoping to become members of parliament at the next election.
The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has announced he wants to become the Conservative candidate for Uxbridge and South Ruislip.
Also UKIP leader, Nigel Farage, has appeared at a hustings in Ramsgate in Kent where he was picked as his party's candidate for South Thanet.
