Liberal Democrats conference: 'We are the underdogs' - Clegg

Nick Clegg has admitted his party faces the fight of its life at the general election next year.

Speaking at a rally to mark the opening of the Liberal Democrat conference in Glasgow, the deputy prime minister said they were "underdogs" who had to fight tooth and nail to stop Labour or the Conservatives from winning an outright majority.
