UK needs a points-based immigration system, says Mayor

London Mayor Boris Johnson has said the UK needs a "points-based system" akin to Australia and America to control immigration.

Speaking to the BBC's Andrew Marr, he said: "It is not reasonable to have a situation in which you simply don't know the numbers that are coming in."
