Warning to Labour on union funding from Assem Allam

One of Labour's biggest donors wants the party to be less reliant on union funding and has spoken out against its mansion tax policy.

In a film for Sunday Politics Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, Tim Iredale spoke to Hull City FC chairman and Labour donor Assem Allam on why he was against the party being reliant on "one category of the community".

But the TUC's Tim Roache said the Labour Party was born out of the trade union movement.
