Kerry McCarthy on vegan food loyalty card offer to MPs

One offer being made in November's World Vegan Month is a loyalty card that will give MPs and peers a free meal or snack depending on how many dishes they buy.

Giles Dilnot spoke to Kerry McCarthy, one of three vegan MPs and chef Lenny Phong from the Vantra Vitao restaurant.

The MP said: "It does not have to be holier-than-thou and terribly, terribly virtuous and good for you", as food can range from chips and beans on toast, to vegetable curry.
