Ed Miliband attacks Sports Direct zero-hours contracts

Labour Leader Ed Miliband had attacked retailer Sports Direct for its use of zero-hours contracts, labelling it a "terrible place to work".

The party claims 17,000 of Sports Direct's 20,000 UK staff are not guaranteed regular hours.

Sports Direct dismissed the criticism but said it would "continue the process of reviewing, updating and improving our core employment documents and procedures across our entire business beyond its existing compliant framework."
